Reinstalled PHP and Apache using GCC 4.3 for a minor performance increase. Upgraded MySQL from 5.0.84 to 5.1.44 which gave a major performance increase. Upgraded the forum software (vBulletin) to 4.0.2 for various fixes.

The server just underwent some maintenance. I installed the following: 320GB 7200 RPM HDD for the Web server and MySQL Databases 500GB 5400 RPM HDD for backup purposes. Before this all of the above + the system all shared the same HDD.

Earlier during the night my ISP had some maintenance. Then later during the day the server crashed, so it required some maintenance to get back up again. Some softwares hadn't been updated for 2 years, and also I compiled a new kernel for the server.
